Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with an illustration by John Edwin Jackson of a veiled woman near a harbor. 10 1/2" x 13 1/4." Twenty-six pages, complete. Many black and white illustrations and advertisements throughout magazine, complete. Inside of front cover has a black and white advertisement for Listerine. This ad consists of photographic stills that show the story of a woman as she faces hardships originating from her halitosis. On inside of back cover is a black and white ad for various sewing models, such as napkins, table cover, cushion, towels, and pillow slips. On the back cover is a multicolored ad for Luckies cigarettes showing a woman in a striped, collared shirt and white skirt, lying on her back on what appears to be a beach, cigarette in hand. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Address stamp in upper-left margin of front cover. Very slight browning near spine. A monthly magazine featuring sewing projects and ideas, the latest trends of the time, and home and life advice.
