Miller after Kneller, three other plates engraved by Grignion after Hayman, and woodcuts of coins in vol. I, and with further cuts in vol. II. Slight marginal worming in vol. IV. The curious collation in the first volumne is correct; presumably Baskerville commenced work on the work on ‘Ancient Medals’ before completing the Haunted House or Poemata, and misjudged the pagination. Contemporary mottled calf, contrasting red and green morocco labels, headcaps and some joints renewed. Armorial bookplate of Edward Southwell Ward (3rd Viscount Bangor, 1790-1857, owner of Castle Ward in Strangford, Co. Down) removed from first volume but present in the remainder.
