What make this book quite UNIQUE is that it comes from Taprall Dorling's own collection and is signed on the first blank page by him. and has some neat notes by him on the margin of a few pages page. Dorling a Naval Officer wrote many Naval books of his own and was also a naval commander. Condition Firmly Bound, Dedication dated 1919 previous owner, gilt still bright end papers age browning, plates and maps checked and correct. (Wonderful pull out invasion plans) slight brown flecks but very light odd pages. all maps intact along folds excepet very rear large map which has split along fold..
