Original small broadside printed on green paper. 5 1/2" x 10 1/2." Two pages, complete. Text printed on one leaf of paper. Paper is very clean and intact. Paper is wrinkled with a few splits at the side edges. Small chip at the bottom edge. This is an announcement for an upcoming play, School for Scandal, that will feature the debut of two actresses, Gertie and May Josephi. The broadside also lists the cast and the Baldwin Orchestra, which will perform "choice selections." Following the play that Saturday will be a "Grand Matinee." The following Monday a play called "The Fool's Revenge" featuring W. E. Sheridan will be performed. At the bottom is a brief note about another play that reads, "In active preparation, The Curse of Cain!" The plays will be performed at the Baldwin Theatre. On the back is an advertisement printed in green ink promoting Ichi Ban Pure Teas on 22 Geary Street.. Poster. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Binding: No Binding
