The set of twelve was completed, even if this particular set was not. The cards announce the sailings of "clipper" ships to San Francisco and are facsimiles of originals in the Bohemian Club. 1/850 copies. "Cards" are tipped into single folded sheets with text explanations by various authors. Stored in a blue cloth- covered portfolio and housed in a matching blue cloth-covered slipcase with leather spine labels. The box is lightly sunned at spine and the labels are edge-clipped.
