No edition/printing given. Full paper over cardboard boaards. Cover shows Chester with Lassie-type collie. Hollyhocks in foreground. Full illustration is there but edges are rough/there is a scotch tape mark on top at spine. Paper on spine is completely cracked/some is missing but stitched spine is fine. Rear board is green in Chester in middle. Tape marks along entire spine. General soilage on both covers. Both front and rear free endpapers are missing. Endpapers show dogs behind wire fence looking cute for a new master. Front/rear endpapers have different dogs. Other than light page browning &some small smudgies book is clean and tight. Full color illustrations are just the sweetest. Especially Chester in the bushel basket.
