Very good indeed in the original black cloth, light wear to extremities. W. Gordon MACKINTOSH's copy as a student, with his name and and date as a second year architecture student at University of the Witwatersrand inside front board, and his autograph and address in Pretoria, dated 26 August 1924, on the front end paper. W. Gordon McIntosh (1904-1983) is generally considered to be the earliest exponent of the International Style in South Africa, in terms of buildings built, in the Transvaal (House AG Munro, Pretoria, c1931.
