Anna Katrina Zinkeisen (b1901-1976). Worked as Anna Zinkeisen.Married name: Mrs Heseltine.Born Kilcreggan,Scotland, daughter of a research chemist and sister of the theatrical designer Doris Zinkeisen. At 15,she was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy Schools,where she won bronze and silver medals. Best known for society portraits,she also painted flowers,executed murals (including commissions for the liners Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth), made sculptures and designed book jackets and magazine covers.
