Covers are very clean and intact except for light to moderate darkening, chipping along spine, slight wear to extremities, and a small dampstain at bottom of front cover. A Very Good copy. This is a brief history of Okanogan, Washington by William C. Brown. Brown describes the expeditions of David Thompson, John Jacob Astor, and some of their other contemporaries. He also discusses Fort Okanogan, the Northwest Fur Company, and the Hudson Bay Company. Printed on front cover: "A souvenir of the one hundredth anniversary of the first settlement in the State of Washington under the American flag.
