Original aquamarine cloth gilt with embossed gilt illustration of ship to upper board and a white penguin to spine. Very professionally and virtually invisibly recased with original spine laid down and original endpapers retained. Head and tail of spine together with corners also almost invisibly repaired and strengthened. Hinges re-enforced so binding is very sound. Outer edges of boards sl. mottled. Endpapers and pages browned, ownership signature to front endpaper. Occ. light foxing o/w a clean and sound copy of a scarce item.
