Leaflet is virtually pristine and intact except for light age toning. A Fine copy. This is a promotional leaflet advertising "popular gift books" published by Charles Scribner's Sons. Each of the books advertised are 16mo and "50 cents net." The text is very brief and simply lists authors' names, the titles of some of their books (some authors have only one book under their name), and four reviews for some of the authors. The authors included on this book list are Mary Raymond Shipman Andrews, Maltbie Davenport Babcock, Katharine Holland Brown, Richard Harding Davis, Marion Harland, Robert Herrick, Frederick Landis, Francis E. Leupp, Alice Duer Miller, Thomas Nelson Page, Robert Louis Stevenson, Isobel Strong, and Henry van Dyke. The names of Andrews, Davis, Stevenson, and Van Dyke are each accompanied by a brief positive newspaper testimonial.
