Original billhead printed and handwritten in black ink on beige paper. 8 1/2" x 14." Two pages. Billhead is very clean and intact except for a few horizontal fold line at center, slight wrinkling, and slight age toning (most noticeable along the edges). A Very Good copy. A billhead for the business of Charles M. Plum & Co. Upholstery Company in San Francisco, California. The customer's name is written at the top, "A. C. Freeman." This is a two-page billing to A. C. Freeman (1844-1911) for $844.45 for carpeting and furniture provided to Freeman for his residence at 3034 Washington Street in San Francisco. There are about twenty-five lines on the two pages that list the carpeting and furniture Freeman had purchased. The billhead includes a header with stylized lettering that names the business and has descriptive text such as "Churches & Society Halls Furnished; Curtain Material, Window Shades, Best Quality Bedding. Parlor, Library and Chamber Furniture. Carpeting, Linoleum, Rugs, Mats, Etc. Our Materials Are of the Best Quality. Our Carpets Are Hand Sewed. None but Skilled Workmen Employed.
