An excellent study of the Communist International - the 'Comintern' - established by Lenin in the Soviet Union for the purpose of founding and controlling communist parties throughout the world, which would be absolutely obedient to the Soviet Union and carry out its secretive foreign policy of subversion and destabilization of foreign nations preparatory to assuming control of them under a Moscow-directed 'socialist republic'. All nearly unbelievable - and yet quite real and fully documented. Comintern was later disbanded by Stalin's orders and most of its members and apparatchiks executed. Hardcover with dust jacket, contains illustrations, notes, biographical sketches, documents index, indexed, 514pp. A very nice copy, the jacket neatly encased in an acid-free archival protector.
