HBDJ, 1949. GOOD+/ VG, AS-IS,Stiff Wraps. Book Condition: Very Good. Carbe, Nino, and Schenk, A. (illustrator). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Saalfield reissue of the Duenewld original, reillustrated by Carbe with animations by Schenk. This version with only two movable pages. Stiff card covers are overlaid by a dust wrapper-like cover that is folded into the binding (not removable). Hinges are tight. Pages unmarked. Light wear to the book and some darkening to the white portions of the cover. The front movable has a short tape repair, and the tab is short, but Santa can still go down the chimney. The rear movable is in very good condition. Much more difficult to locate than the Duenewald original. Dustjacket NOT removable adhered to Cover, , Hardcover. Book Condition: GOOD+. Dust Jacket Condition: VG. DJ is good for age, slightly yellowed with small tear on back side bottom, verall good for being a child's bk and the age of it. Unpaginated animated book with illustrations on every page; animated on BACK end papers with tab , Paper over board covers with full color illustration. Minimal storage darkening or soiling of board; minimally rubbed corners; Back end paper animated illustration is of Santa Claus in his sleigh with a team of reindeer flying past the moon and over a sleeping town, Stapled binding is tight with no pulling. 8 7/16" x 6 1/2". full color pictorial boards with color interior illustrations, BACK DJ Small Edge Tear. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Very Good
