Printed journal of pioneer Elizabeth Van Horne that was written on her journey from New Jersey to Lebanon, Ohio. Introductory background information provided by Elizabeth Collette in front. Van Horne gives concise yet detailed descriptions of her journey west. She writes about her family she is traveling with, meeting new people, the state of the roads, the weather, and natural scenery, among other events.
