There are two adhesive ex-libris labels in cartoon style marked, "Ex Libris Conradie" and with a balloon speech text: "Dis was nog altyd my ambisie om iets van my in druk te sien" (It was always my ambition to see something of mine in print.). The book is signed by Conradie on the frontispage. On the inside front cover there is a gift inscription from Conradie to his grandson (dated: 23.11.82). The board cover is worn and scuffed.
