A very full 121 pages of 124 in the 6.25 inches by 3.25 inches page book as Sheward kept meticulous track of his daily duties, including checking freight cars, guarding offloaded liquor shipments, escorting money shipments to Victoria, BC, chasing miscreants throwing bottles out of railcar windows, assisting injured rail yard workers, re-sealing opened freight cars, and even investigating theft of money on board boats.
