Original publisher's brown wrapper with a small totem illustration on the front cover and a full-color, full-page advertisement for The Nugget Shop on the back cover. No date, circa 1928-1931. 7 1/4" x 10 3/8." Forty-six pages, complete. Black and white reprinted photographs and illustrations, complete. Three pages in the back and the inside of the front and back covers contain advertisements for The Nugget Shop, a souvenir store, and Chas. Goldstein & Co., a fur dealer and manufacturer. Former ownership inscription of Mrs. W. J. Needham written in black ink in lower-right corner of front cover. Covers are clean and intact overall, but there is slight creasing and wrinkling at the spine and edges. Interior pages are very clean and intact. A Very Good copy. This pamphlet takes readers on a tour of Alaska and talks about historical and geographic points of interest. Chapters include the following: "The Ketchikan District," "Wrangell," "Wrangell Narrows, Petersburg and Taku," "Juneau, The Capital City," "Lynn Canal, Skagway, the White Pass, and a Salmon Cannery," and "Sitka and Alaskan History.".
