First Edition. 2 vols, a very good set in the original blue pictorial cloth gilt, spines faded and ends worn. Some minor worm damage, largely restricted to inside hinge gutters, as follows: Vol.1: inside front board, approx. 1 inch L-shaped, and a short track foot front gutter, with associated tiny entry hole approx. 1 inch from foot of hinge; Vol.2, 4 entry (or exit) holes along front hinge, 1/2 inch on front inside board, short tracks through the top of the fep and first blank leaf, ending in a tiny hole in the blank top margin of the frontispiece.
