The front leaf shows an illustration of Abraham Lincoln's house in Springfield, Illinois, which is also printed on the front and back covers. The back leaf shows a reprinted portrait of Lincoln. The history of Lincoln's home is retold from "Lincoln's" point of view (with a few of his actual quotes included).
