Uniformly bound in 3/4 calf leather and marbled paper, raised bands on richly gilt decorated spines, marbled page edges, marbled endpapers, bindings and hinges tight. I found a single ownership circular blue ink stamp of JPB Dodge New York, two incidences of the initials JPBD, a few minor light spots, otherwise clean throughout. A handsome and scarce set which would look good on anyone's shelf. Aprox 5" x 7.125" with shelf space is about 4 feet [48", 122cm] . Sabin states, "..The best collected edition..." See 16559.
