He wrote Pioneer Adventures (1948), Pioneering in Southwest Texas (1949), and Story of Gray School (1950). The "Terrell Story" is a recollection about the wife of an American ambassador traveling in Switzerland who states she would rather have American freedom than live in the beautiful landscapes of Europe.
