Michael Gray is not the author's real name.He was handed over to surrogate parents in the late 1940s.He would never have known anything about his birth parents had not a bizarre chain of circumstances led him to a sensational discovery. He now knows what his surname would have been. Romanov. It is the author's contention that his father,Alexei, the Tsarevich, did not die with the rest of his family in Ekaterinburg in 1918,but survived in the West as 'Nikolai Chebotarev' until 1987; that his grandparents, therefore, were the Tsar and Tsarina Nicholas and Alexandra. The detailed evidence in words and pictures, painstakingly and meticulously assembled,is in this astonishing book. Some of the evidence has been buried for eighty years, some for fifty. It is a story of tragedy and fortitude, and of a trail which leads from Siberia, via Constantinople, Yugoslvia, the French Riviera,Paris,Ireland and New York,to - of all places - Norfolk,England. The trail may end there; the story,of course, does not, because Michael Gray has a son. 'Blood Relative' offers a convincing - and moving - solution to the last great mystery of the 20thC. Since April 2013,again in March 2015,and in this year too,the UK Post Office has altered it's Pricing in Proportion template, altering it's prices, weight allowances, dimensions and lowered it's qualifying compensation rates too!
