Benson." Pages are very clean and intact. Pages are unopened. Joseph Grinnell (1877-1939) was an American field biologist and zoologist. He made extensive surveys of various animals throughout California and created the Grinnell Method of note taking. Grinnell also wrote many articles on birds and animals for ornithological and scientific magazines. Contents of this publication: "Author's Field-notes," "Bibliography of Kotzebue Sound Ornithology," "Checklist of Birds so far Recorded from the Region," and "Map of Kotzebue Sound Region."
