This was based on the charge of defaming public morals, corrupting the inborn sense of shame and virtue innate in the German people. Grosz was found guilty and fined 6000 marks. 24 plates of Ecce Homo were confiscated and destroyed. This edition faithfully follows the original issue and contains all of Grosz' original illustrations before it was confiscated and destroyed, 4to, Fine in Very Good DJ
