First Edition (first printing). 8vo. vii, 254pp + viii catalogue. Blue cloth lettered and ruled in gold at the spine and with the publisher's slightly faded blue top edge stain. The cloth at the backstrip faded, and with some further fading to the board margins, and a touch of wear to the cloth at the spine ends. An area of unsightly staining to the head of the rear board, and a trace of light spotting to the fore- and bottom edge. A minor slant to the binding. A little toning to the free endpapers, and some spotting to the margins of the half-title, title page and to one or two early text leaves and several of the rear advertisements. Small dealer plate of a Sydney-based book-dealer to the base of the front pastedown. A good copy, lacking the fugitive dust wrapper.
