colonial edition stated. green boards with gold gilt to the spine. the boards are slightly shelf rubbed and the spine is a little discoloured. the book has no inscriptions but there is some mild foxing especially the early pages. the book is complete with all illustrations and maps as called for except one. the plate 'cooking in camp' which should have faced page 297 is missing. the binding is excellent. appears to have been rebound..
