This book is in Dutch and classical Afrikaans. The board cover has much wear and marking from use and storage. There are marks and stains about the edges and body of the front cover. All corners are worn from shelving and use. The back cover is light affected along the top run and the spine edge. The bottom edge is worn as are the corners. The waxed cloth spine has an open tear at the head. Both side edges and the foot are much worn. There is a previous owner inscription (dated 24/11/1919) on the frontispage. Front and end pages and binding is brittle from age and storage. The paper cut is rough. The trim edges are much marked from dust and storage.
