Original black and white group portrait photograph that shows members of the "Division Commercial Supervisor's Group" of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company. Twenty-four men and women are in the portrait; fourteen are in the back; ten kneel in the front. They are posed in front of a brick building, and all wear business attire. 19" x 8." Photograph is very clean and intact except for a few minuscule marks and small bumps and wrinkles at the corners and edges. The title is handwritten facsimile printed at the bottom. The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company (PacTel) was founded in 1906 and managed the Bell System's telephone and telegraph operations in California. After many ownership and name changes, including Pacific Bell (PacBell), Pacific Telesis, and SBC, PacTel is now owned and marketed under AT&T.. Photographic Image.
