This HOKUSAI'S REALISTIC SKETCHBOOK is a Meiji-era rendering of Hokusai favorites, here recreated in color woodcut in a relatively larger format than one usually encounters for Hokusai ehon: Each of the 20 double page folding prints expands to a full 20.3 x 31.5cm in image size - about the size of a horizontal chu^ban print. The covers are slightly soiled and the printed paper title label missing, the interior clean.
