Red cloth spine with full-coloured chromolitho displaying two girls under a Christmas Tree with their gifts laid down to upper bd. Spine sl. dulled, bds very lightly marked, remains of school book prize plate to f/pastedown, e/ps lightly foxed, pages browned along edges o/w a clean, sound and very lovely copy of an early and very scarce Ernest Nister production. With a letter from David Lake, bookseller, stating he was in touch with Julia Hunt to find out more about this volume. Hunt was able to give the date and a value of about £250.
