Bob Hope (1903-2003) was in vaudeville, radio, TV, and the movies of which he was a major star in them all. His movies THE ROAD PICTURES were very successful staring also Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour. THE LEMON DROP KID (1951) was probably his best movie. He hosted the Academy Awards 18 times between 1939 and 1977. His TV specials for NBC were among the highest rated and featured his USO work for which he traveled around the world visiting the troops.
