Jean Siccardi is a French poet, playwright, novelist and author of children's books. His grandparents left Italy at the beginning of the 20th century and he recounts in his first novel from 1994, La Carriole , the adventures of these Italians in search of a better life. It was through poetry that he first devoted himself to literature. He was then noticed by Jean Rousselot , Robert Sabatier and Jean Gouhier . Poetry will be revealed in his novels for young people. In writing workshops he trains masters, educators and animators. From 1972, he led literary experiments in sensitive neighborhoods. He lives in Saint-Maximin, near Sainte-Baume in the Var.
