With a title page decoration and six splendid wood-engraved plates, each one introducing a new section. Some light toning and spotting to the margins of the endpapers and pastedowns. A very good copy in slightly toned, soiled, rubbed and creased non-price-clipped dust wrapper with a small area of loss from the head of the rear panel. A fourteen-page introduction by de la Mare precedes 154 poems concerned with flowers, including verse by John Clare, W.H.Davies, Edward Fitzgerald, Christina Rossetti, George Eliot, D.H.Lawrence, William Blake, Thomas Hardy, and scores of others.
