Johnson was a prolific booster of the procedure and it seemed like every orthopedic surgeon at the time would go to one of Dr. Johnsons courses on the subject. Johnson invented and patented numerous arthroscopic instruments. He founded Instrument Makar company, later sold to Smith & Nephew. Arguably his greatest invention was the arthroscopic shaver. This book is one of the few early ones on the subject, and reflects a time prior to video camera attachments to the scope. Original blue cloth binding.
