Edith Rheihallt Jones (d.1944) was the first wife of John David Rheinhallt Jones, ( 1884 - 1953 ), philanthropist, founder and Director of the South African Institute of Race Relations. Together with Alfred Hoernle and her husband she was also pivotal in establishing the Department of Bantu Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand..
