This is an original copy of the fanzine Opel, published by Ivor Trueman, and presents the author's first-hand account of working with Syd Barrett on his first solo album, The Madcap Laughs, EMI, 1969, after Barrett had left the Pink Floyd; includes set lists, session info, and take numbers, plus info on Pink Floyd sessions and gigs. The author was head of EMI's Harvest label, which would release the album. Fanzine looks self-published, and probably was, and is filled with invaluable information for the serious Syd Barrett fan. We've included a numbered CD (98 of 250), titled Time Capsule Volume One: 1965 - 1969, apparently issue by Brain Damage magazine, in 2000, that contains a PDF version of the Opel fanzine, plus 277 pages of newspaper scans from 1965 - 1969 relating to the early Pink Floyd, along with another PDF called Lost For Words, which contains an examination of Syd Barret and Pink Floyd lyrics.
