Original publisher's beige paper brochure; one leaf folded in half. No date, circa 1954-1955. 6" x 9." Printed on all four panels (two panels printed front and back), complete. Brochure is very clean and intact overall except for center horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and some age toning. A Very Good copy. Program for a performance by Yma Sumac (1922-2008), a Peruvian coloratura soprano who helped popularize the exotica music genre. Sumac was renowned for her vocal talents. Among her reported musical feats were having a vocal range of five octaves (most classically trained singers have a range of three octaves) and being able to sing in a "double voice.". Ephemera.
