The two items are the photographic invitation for the Juda Rowan Gallery exhibition of 2 - 31 March 1984, SIGNED on both front and back, (AND) the invitation for the Site-art-present Paris exhibition 14 Feb 1984 - 14 April 1984, SIGNED on the front. Michael Kenny RA is best known as a sculptor, but also made important reliefs and drawings as well as sculptural constructions in wood and metal. Kenny was born in Liverpool in 1941 and attended Liverpool College of Art 1959-61 and the Slade School of Fine Art 1961-64; he taught at Goldsmiths College 1966-68 and the Slade 1981-82 and was elected RA in 1986. Kenny completed many public commissions and solo exhibitions including retrospectives at Wilhelm-Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, 1984, Hansard Gallery in Southampton, 1990, and Dulwich Picture Gallery, 1994 following a residency there from 1992-93.
