I scarcely now know how we accomplished all we did, & nothing could have been done without the aid of men of the standing of Dr. Carter" Mrs Carter was the wife of Alfred Henry Carter (1849- 1917),Professor of Medicine and noted clinician. Sir Alfred Henry Keogh, GCB, GCVO, CH (3 July 1857 - 30 July 1936) was a medical doctor in the British Army.
