Very good indeed in the original black cloth, some very slight uniform scarring , some wear to extreme top front hinge, the tips of the corners of the front board showing light wear, the red spine lettering rubbed but legible, sontents clean and tight. Probasbly the scarcest of all Kersh first editions: we cannot trace a copy for sale in the past five years. Even the 1947 Heinemann reprint is uncommon.
