Vojtech Kubašta (b. 7th Oct,1914 - d. 1992) was a Czech architect and artist. In the 1950s-1960s,Vojtech Kubašta,an Austrian-born paper engineer and illustrator working in Czechoslovakia, created a series of pop-up adventure and fantasy stories combining bold folk art style imagery, distinctive colours, and innovative cut and folded paper styles. Combining his artistic and architectural talents in the creation of the spatial,pop-up book,he not only draw them all,but he was also the author of the solution to the three-dimensional parts. He produced hundreds of pop-up books, and makers of pop-up books today still use Kubašta's structures and the principles he invented and used in his instantly recognisable and unique works.
