A contemporary (1988) color photographic print of Tuck Powell, one of the most popular and most good-looking male-nude models discovered by Walter Kundzicz. The print measures 5 X 6 inches and is presented "bleed". Champion Studio's vintage prints were "pocket size" and had white borders, the widespread practice in the 1960's. It is encased in a protective plastic sheet. The photograph shows Tuck Powell on the beach, a favorite Walter Kundzicz setting, posing as a football player (he is shown holding the ball; ever mindful of the smallest detail, Walter Kundzicz also placed a yellow helmet on the sand), scantily and markedly clad in a jockstrap. The photograph shows the strikingly and sexily handsome model, who was a Marine, in one of his finest portraits ever. "Famous for quality color images of handsome, athletic men from the late 1950's and early 1960's, these photographs of scantily clad athletes (packed with amusing props, costumes, and bulging posing pouches) are notable not only for the commercial success they enjoyed during their heyday but also for their enduring creativity and imagination.
