Original hand-drawn comic strip art by Dale McFeatters for the comic strip, Strictly Business. Signed "Dale McFeatters" in black ink at the bottom of the panel. Also inscribed in black ink pen at the top on the panel is the following: "To John Norbitt -- Dale McFeatters." Original black ink on white paper. Original sticker on the panel has the following text: "[Copyright] Field Enterprises, Inc., 1979." January 24, 1979. 9" x 9 5/8." Art is very clean and intact with minimal age wear. This is a single-panel comic. The panel shows two women watching a man at a podium, whose audience appears to be a TV. One of the women says, "Edgar never lets a TV editorial go unanswered." Dale McFeatters (1911-1999) was an American cartoonist, newspaper journalist, and businessman. He created the comic strip, Strictly Business, in 1941 which was launched by the Publishers Syndicate. The comic strip was eventually taken over by Field Enterprises and ran until 1984. Strictly Business pokes fun at the corporate world and was popular in its time. It also held a record at the time for the longest-running single-panel comic with its forty-three-year syndication.. Comic. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine.
