Original manuscript handwritten on lined paper in black ink with holograph corrections in pen and pencil and original corresponding typescript. Possibly authored by Joseph G. McMacken who was a physics teacher at Spokane's Lewis and Clark High School. No date, circa 1930s-1940s. 8 1/2" x 11." Manuscript is fifteen pages; typescript is six pages, both may possibly be incomplete. Pages of manuscript are very clean and intact except for slight age toning and a couple rust marks in the top margin on the first and last pages from a paper clip. The typescript has some discoloration and age toning, slight edge wear, and a few rust spots from a paper clip in the top margin. Both are Very Good. A research paper about Mt. Spokane in Washington in the form of a rough draft (manuscript) and a more finished copy (typescript). While in-depth and fairly substantial in length, the manuscript and typescript may be lacking pages towards the end (manuscript may also be missing a few in the middle) because the last page appears to end mid-sentence in both documents..
