Brown decorative boards the titles gilded to the decorstive front and spine boards are beveled the gilding to the front and to the spine is faded but still clearly discernable. the boards shoe edge ware and the bottom corners are a little bumped. Alas the front epp has been replaced and there is the note neatly in India Ink of the previous owners initial and the No. 254.There is light foxing throught which does not interfere with the print or the fine engravings that are quite numerous.The titles page has been booktaped as has the rear epp.A good copy of this very rare work..
