She relates in over 110 pages shipboard accounts, specific reference to individuals by name, accounts in Honolulu, Hawaii, & Maui, etc. She also spends a great deal of time enjoying and observing Hawaiian culture and ceremony. She observes the King, an amazing Church service with a visiting Cleveland preacher who conducts the service in 'American'. Mrs. Fox paints an amazing picture of early Hawaii and its people. VG..
