Dated circa the 1920s there is a mix of verse, poems, general knowledge, autographs and a newspaper cutting about 'Ninteen Irishmen pay the death penalty.11 shot in Cork and 8 hanged in Dublin.' Names included: Herman Gebler, of Waterford, a professional violinist of Austrian nationality; Seagnan MacMeanman [1891-1962] b. Iniskeel, Co. Donegal, related to the poet Tadhg Ó Tionmanaí; Colaiste Uladh, the Gaelic League school founded in Gort a Choirce, 1906, became Irish teacher at McDevitt Irish Institute, Glenties, Donegal, lost position at one time for not swearing oath of allegiance to the State; Scéalta Goiridhe Geimhridh (Dublin 1915), stories; Fear Siubhail (1924), novel; Inne agus Innui (1929), stories; Trí Mhion-Dráma (1936); Ó Chamhaoir go Clapsholas (1940); Mám as mo Mhála (1940), old-time stories; Mám Eile as an Mhála Chéadna (1954); Rácáil agus Scuabadh (1955); Crathadh an Phócáin (1955); Stair na h-Eireann (1956); Seamus MacAniomaire, Irish botanist writer, [1891-1976] born at Muighinis in Connemara on the 13 January 1891, during 1919-1926 he had a number of stories, essays, songs and lists of terms and proverbs published in the Galway Journal An Stoc, edited by Professor Tomás Ó Máille, before emigrating to New York in the latter year. In New York he taught classes in Irish for the Gaelic Society, and while recovering from tuberculosis in 1927, he wrote Cladaigh Chonamara, which was published in 1938. Agnes O'Farrelly: O' Farrelly was involved in the Irish language movement and equality for women. She wrote poems and novels in Irish and in 1934 became professor of Irish in University College Dublin.Candidate in dail eireann general elections 1927. For the most part the autographs are all dated by the person who signed and some of them have a message in Gaeilge (the Irish language).
