Paton, Alan : Apartheid and the Archbishop: The life and times of Geoffrey Clayton, Archbishop of Cape Town

David Philip, 1973

ISBN 0949968102

The title page has been signed by Alan Paton. The boards are a touch edge worn, and the bottom of the spine has some paper residue on it. The gold gilt on the spine is bright and cheery. The dust jacket has fared less well. It is very rubbed and worn, with multiple tears and creases along the edges, with some large tears almost running the length of the spine. There are a few chips out of the corners and edges of the spine, with the largest being out of the bottom edge of the spine. These chips, however, do not hamper the legibility of the jacket. Despite the damage to it, it is well preserved and intact. Apart from the author's signature, there are no other markings or inscriptions and the pages are pristine and crisp. The binding is tight and it is presented and preserved beautifully in cellophane. JV. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Fair
