An article about present-day Italy in 1940. John Patric (1902-1985) was an American author who wrote for National Geographic in the 1930s and 1940s. He also published two books and was one of the best-known writers from Oregon during the 1940s. In his writings, Patric covered a variety of topics including political history, media history, cultural criticism, fascism, Korean history, and biographies of artists and authors.. Book.
